About

I've been a magazine and website editor, corporate and nonprofit marketing/communications executive, and ran editorial services and business development for a thriving boutique PR agency focused on tech clients during the (first) dot-com boom.

At the Sierra Club, I was responsible for Emmy-winning TV produtions (along with print and online media), and also created high-impact online campaigns (such as one that led to Sierra Club founder John Muir being featured on the California state commemorative quarter that's probably in your pocket right now).

At Palm, I created social media channels and campaigns that gave the company a much stronger online presence than its much larger rivals, Apple and Google -- Twitter named @palm to its list of the top 50 most influential channels (we were the only product-oriented channel on the list, the rest being mostly about geopolitical issues and Kardashians).

If you need editorial, social media, or marketing help on a project (or have a full-time opening), I'd love to talk with you. What excites me about new projects/roles? Game-changing technology, world-changing missions, and people who I will enjoy spending time with and learning from. What you can expect from me? Storytelling, communications strategy, aggressive listening, and an ability to balance experimentation and innovation with practical, results-oriented execution.
